crank hits on somethimg

so yea i was changing my waterpump evrything went well. when it comes to turn the crank it hits on something. (bare with me im a nooooob just want to learn.)

are you turning the crank seperate from cams or is your timing belt on

If you put your belt back on, it could be your valves hitting the pistons. Check your timing and hope you didn't bend your valves. More info would be helpful on what's put back on it.

im going to guess this too. if you already put back the timing belt and and it's hitting double check your marks. i hope you haven't actually tried to start the car yet or your valves will most likely be bent.
