cracked injector seal

I have a cracked injector seal, but not what you might think. The rubber ring didn't crack, its actually the little plastic cover shown here (see below). Can you buy this piece, or do I need a whole new injector.

thanks, but i need it asap, im gonna check some local autopart stores. Does anybody know if the pintle caps (just learned thats what their called) are specific for DSM's?

No the pintle caps are pretty much common to this style of injector. The 1G caps have a single hole where the 2G ones use a two hole cap that helps direct the spray at the valves rather than the divider.

The trick to putting them on or taking them off is to heat them up in hot water.

Well, after a week I finally found what I was looking for. Jim's Fuel Injection in Vancouver stock the pintle caps, just in case anybody else runs into the same problem I did.
 
One up to you my friend. Ran into same problem and im suspecting it is the culprit of running rich when in boost. Going to call them tomorrow and order four incase something happens.:thumb:
