Never uploaded pics here so i hope this works
Pic 1 and 2 , Last boost/vac gauge i hooked up..Had a hose that slipped over the fitting, this one looks like its pushed/ or stuffed in there..The T (plastic that's stuffed) goes to the gauge ,one line goes to the intake ,the other line (showing in the the pic goes to that black thing)-don't know atm what its called ..Maybe boost solenoid

3rd pic , Is the cas ..i have never seen this kind of hack work...I know i will need to cut and replace it..But i want to make sure those are the only wires that go to it..Yes it still works.I am tossing the cas code possible because of this hack job it looks new ..

4th pic , I will be doing the vac delete..Wanted to make sure this is the items i dont need..the egr is not in that pic but i will be getting that block off plate to..

5th pic , Not sure what its called yet but do these lines get deleted to for the vac del? Or do i leave them alone ?

Also everything in the car has a double ground..tranny intake engine ..etc you name it theres 2 ground in the same spot..is there a reason for that?

Thanks in advance P.S i am trying on this whole grammar and punctuation thing :p It is new ok

If you don't plan on worrying about emission testing in your area then you can delete the lines. The black canister and egr valve with vacuum line can be removed, also the lines going to the thermostat housing can be removed as well (pic 5).

1+2 yes looks like where the boost gauge should be fed. it is off of the Fuel pressure solenoid. One line goes to the manifold (gauge side) and the other side to the fpr.

3 I haven't taken my wiring apart but if it works, dont fix it LOL. If anything, buy a new pigtail and solder it in, you could peel back the loom/wrap and see how the connections were made. BUT if that is hot glue, guess what happens under the hood? (hot) guess what hot glue does when it gets hot? (melts) change the fckin shiet.

5, yes all the lines that go to coolant etc can go. all the lines to the charcoal canister can go. all the other lines in the fpr area (except 1+2 and everyhing in thier path) can go. egr lines can go. all the lines on top of the TB can go. The only ones that need plugging, are the 4 in top of the tb.
Ill look for the diagrams, and ill edit the link in should be easy peasy.

4 yes they go too. (see 4) but leave the canister attached till you figure out how to vent gas fumes. you can disconnect the vac lines going to it though.

and double grounds are good. that makes your shrging system work more efficiently. if its not factory then someone either was really anal about performance (i doubt b/c of the cam angle sensor job...) or they were putting in an electrical demand such as a stereo or sub.

Beat me to it vvvvvvvv

Thanks everyone
Anyone know who or where i can buy the cas plug+pig tail
Seen the taboo many times wanted to make sure ..Also what about the fule smell/vent the gas smell how do i get rid of that after the vac del

In Canada my favourite place to get parts is rtmracing.com, awesome service, comes in approx. 2 days and you don't pay duty. its bad ass.

But regarding your question about the CAS plug RTM doesn't carry it, i checked around. If i were you i would try and repair it by properly soldering the wires and cover each wire with shrink tubing. If you don't have enough wire on the end of the plug to work with try a local junk yard, sometimes you luck out.

To get rid of the fuel smell, a common thing to do (and what i did) is to extend the hose that comes from the gas take to the evap canister and direct it towards the back of the car. I just wouldn't plug it, relieving pressure is a good thing.

Before you replace the pigtail, you should figure out why it was modified like that...

You can get the pigtail at a junkyard off of any Eclipse/Talon/Laser 91-94 (possibly Galants), any Hyundai Sonata 94-95, any Hyundai Elantra 92-95. You can also instead use the TPS pigtail which is located on the throttle body of some of those vehicles. thedsmgraveyard.com has pigtails but cost a little more due to shipping. Check the classifieds for harness part outs too.

I hate paying more than $20 for a little connector so I shop around :thumb:

So i had a buddy grab me a cas out of a 1g..But it doesn't look like mine (pics above of mine)..These pics are of the one he grabbed ..There is one extra wire on this one..Black , Red , x2 brown wires instead of one like mine has .Mine also plugs into the cas , this one is built in and has the plug on the end...Will it still work ? If it will is there any specific way to install it?

Yes that will work just fine, IMO that one is a hassle because after a few years the wires break off. The one you had before is a real nice piece trouble free and EXPENSIVE, try finding it on the classifieds for under $60 compared to that $20 one. Also your wires should be the same, its just that ones wires fade badly from heat and oil, etc.

I can't tell in the original picture but is there any wire on the pigtail side to work with? It would probably be easier and more convenient just to tidy up that.

If that is not an option and you want to go ahead and replace the CAS then you can just line the two up and solder the respective wires. You would be using the that CAS your buddy gave you (its a '90 CAS) in place of your existing one and wiring it in. as in this thread http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/427976-90-c-s-wiring.html

But doing it this way will mean that you will have to physically remove the CAS if you decide to remove the the engine/ head in the future. Not a big deal, just something to think about.

Hope it works out for you.

Red and black is power and ground the other two are for camshaft position and crankshaft position. Not sure how your car runs with only 3 wires but trace your wires and see whats going on there. Check your ecu wiring, remove driving side console panel (the one by your right foot) and see if you have a hackjob going on..
