Couple Issues here

My car was running a little on rich side 13.5 @ warm idle. Got a CEL for fuel trim, replace front o2 and now im around 15.5 @ idle but 10.0 Under boost. Normal driving conditions are 13.9-14.5 so a little lean now except under boost it goes straight to 10.0 to 10.2. I do have a wide-band and i am installing a SAFC this weekend. Question is what would cause this to run so lean then straight rich under boost?

Second thing is, I feel like im getting a lot of miss fire under low speed driving, plugs, wires are new and gaped appropriately. Possible timing is off? Is it possible to run a timing light on these motors? I have ran several boost leak test in which all have come up negative, turbo spools strong and holds pressure through RPM range.

umm i would check your fuel system, especially if you are having misfire issues. Do you have a logger?

no logger. Only thing i cant think of is im loosing a ring and i have knock. But knock at such lower RPMs doesnt make sense. I say i think im loosing a ring because my compression in 2-3-4 is awesome went straight to 155 +/- 3 psi. But cylinder 1 went to about 144 then crept to 150 +/- 2.

First attempt at SAFC install is a fail, connectors i bought were not small enough. Next stop sader gun since some one already had one installed because all the wires are need are cut pretty bad and wrapped pretty shitty. Even thinking about trying to find a new harness.

Ok fixed the harness the right way. SAFC installed Initialized and re-setup. Waiting till i didn't work 12 hours to run the car see what i got.

Currently TPS is .440 close and 4.55 open. Current idle is about 800 rough with AFR of 15 to 16 idle and 14.5 to 15.5 driving, 10.0 under boost. Ill let you guys know on how this all works out. Hoping to find more info on the right AFR readings on a stock 96 GSX

ok so Tested WOT have 100%, ran the car today after putting a new alternator and belt. Idle maxed with SAFC at 50% is 14.6 to 15.2 cruise is around 13.4 to 14.5 havent gotten it under boost yet. Still alot of adjusting to do, have it all setup VIA another thread on here @ Karman 4cyl throttle up, Lo 15% Hi 50%
