i know a bse raises oil pressure and through reading on here some people were saying to open up the hole in the filter housing but that doesnt seem to make any sense becaus ethe hole in the pressure release piston is alot smaller then the housing hole

so do you guys think this will do the trick or should i go bigger?

Wrong hole. That hole does nothing other the preventing pressure to build up under the piston during operation. It is just there to equalize pressure. The hole you need to open up is actually in the housing which is opened up when the piston opens.
