That’s a lot if they’re from the yard. Say a local yard had one hypothetically. It would probably cost $200 max if you pulled everything. It is what it is. Idk if I want to spend 5 on it. How do you like it? Is it in your build?I paid around $500 for belts, buckles, hardware, with all the right panels. That was 2 years ago or so. I suggest searching sources in Canada, like their auto recyclers (wrecking yards). Mine was a guy on ebay who had listed one trim piece for the upper “b” pillar. I contacted in and arranged him to list all the belt-swap parts in one “auction”.
Yes I am aware of that and easiest would be to get them from our friends up north as Meth Addict mentioned.Manual 1g seatbelts never came to the US. Only the export cars had them. They're pretty hard to find used and not available new.
I saw that but didn’t look into it. Do you need the buckle from 2g? Can you post a pic when you get a chance?2g seatbelts will work also. You don't get the B pillar plastics like you do from the Canadian cars, but you get better retractors and they are easier to find. It's what I'm using in my car right now.
Yeah you installed it where lap belt bolts to. That’s not bad at all. Wonder if the Canadian B pillar cover would work with thatI believe you need the buckle also, but I can't remember for sure. It's probably a good idea to get that just in case.
I did not have to trim. I believe I took that black cover off the retractor, but I'd have to open things up to find out for sure. As you can see though, no trimming. Obviously I left the B pillar plastic off, so it's not a completed install, but I'm happy to be rid of the automatic adjusters.
Edit: Now that I look at that tech article, I'm pretty sure that's not where I mounted mine. I believe I mounted my retractors in the space the old automatic seatbelts were. I remember it being pretty much bolt in.
