What should someone expect to pay for a t-25 in great condition with no shaftplay? Just curious. Thanks a lot.

Consdering used 14b's go for about $80, i wouldn't pay more than $50 for a t-25.

I would say buy a used 14b turbo and then just get a 2g install kit, if you have a couple extra bucks and a little amount of time to put one in. I have seen ones on ebay(the install kits) for like 75 bucks, or you could buy one from a proven dsm vendor for like $150 i think. I am just going for an evo316g tubro but i just swapped a 14b with my friend and it was pretty easy and definately a noticeable gain!! T-25 runs at pretty close to max at stock boost level.

around $100, check up on ebay or a honda forum and see how much people are buying them for.

i had some kid trying to sell me a 14b for 350 bucks because "it came off a 1991 Eclipse GS-X and its a really really rare car"...his exact wordsWTF

Ignorant people annoy me :barf:

$100 is a good price for a very good condition t-25.. you can usually get them cheaper.

I'd go with the 14b + install kit if you're looking for a replacement turbo with more punch.

I wanted to put him in his place, but i rather let some elder DSM'er do the dirty work for me, LOL..! i almost crapped my pants when i got the email back from him...And i just emailed him back saying "dude, if you find someone to buy that 16 year old turbo for 350 bucks, i will drink a gallon of rancid milk. For 350 bucks i can get a T3/T4 turbo BRAND NEW with a higher HP rating"

i dont mean to take the post over but, i know the 14b is a better turbo as far as power-wise but do you really feel the difference?

Well the reason I am asking is because I have an extra t25 sitting around and I was thinking about selling it. I didn't want to come out and say that right away because I'm still not sure if I'm going to sell it. I want to learn a few more things before I get rid of a perfectly good turbo. I do want to upgrade to a 14b or 16g though but how does bolting on one of those two turbos affect the way that the car runs. Is it just a direct bolt on with the install kit and good to go or is there more involved?
