Just seeing if the price I was given for the machine work done to my engine is within reason or if I'm being screwed.

Work Done:

Head:
- Clean
- Valve Job
- MLS Mirror surface
- Assembly of valves, seals, keepers
- Price of valve seals

Block:
- Deck
- .020 Overbore
- Hone to pistons
- Clean

Crank:
- Polish and magnaflux

Pistons:
- Hang 1g rods onto 2g pistons
- Check balance

I should probably also mention the work was done by a machine shop that is well known for the quality of their work in the area.

Grand total: $1100 even

Okay, good to hear. The valve guides should be fine, the head only had 70k on it. I'm sure they would have let me know if they were bad.
