Cost of engine rebuild

I'm considering a full engine overhaul and was wondering what it normally costs for all the machine work on the block and head with new internals for the block and valves, springs, retainers, gaskets etc. for head?

roughly around $700 but i bought the kit the just machined and put it toghter

This question is getting alot of attention (How / What i need to rebuilt my engine) i just rebuilt mine go to this WEBSITE and pick out what you need, i purchased the 7bolt 2g and it runs smooth.

Here's what I want to do, if anyone has any of these mods can you give me a rough estimate of cost, I've looked up a lot of these but want to compare prices with others'.
I already have a stripped down 7bolt block from my old car.
Hot tank, Magna flux check for cracks, bore .20 over, balance and blueprint(maybe), larger rods, high comp pistons(10:1 i think), new oil pump/pick up tube/oil pan, oh and a new front case since the old one is cracked from removal(little too much force use to remove it, oops)
