Coolingmist water injection

What is the idea behind water injection? I was checking out the kits by Coolingmist and wanted to know what they were all about. I noticed they are methanol sake, what does this mean and where do you get it and why. Where is the water or methanol being injected. I am not new at this, I just never heard of water injection before. Thanks!!
