Coolant Reservoir Hose goes where?

Hows it going guys?

I have another newb question for you guys.
In my 98 spyder gs I noticed that my Coolant Reservoir tank has a cap with two holes on it and currently it only has one hose that's connected to the radiator. I looked up some pictures and other same cars as mine have a second hose going down somewhere, but where is it going? I have attached a pic to let you guys know what I am talking about. I would really appreciate some help. Thanks for your time guys

Yeah one hose just goes down not connected to anything its for overflow.

Yeah the hose is to direct the overflow down underneath the car.

Only if you're car is pushing coolant, i.e. bad headgasket.

Yeah its definatly the overflow, just points down about 5 inches past what u can see on the pic.. just put0a0piece of hose bent downward, make sure nothin electrical is in the way!!!

Do put a hose there, you don't want coolant sprayed all over the engine bay if the car overheats. That stuff will stain the paint and the stains won't come out if it's not washed off right away.

coolant is a PITA to remove from the engine bay, that's why you've got the hose, to spill it all over your garage floor when you need it!
