here is the problem ,I just had the car out for a spin running it a little hard ,when I got home it started to boil over into the overflow bottle ,I pulled the plugs and #1 cylinder has coolant in it .I had new head put on ,new gasket ,retorqued arp head studs to spec ,the car had been overheated awhile back . all of this was changed after the overheating .could it be that the block is indeed cracked ,because it pressurizes the coolant hoses pretty good ,anyone else ever have there block cracked, thanks:barf:

Not a cracked block, but warped head esp. if you had these overheating probs before. Did you have the head for straightness if it had prior overheating problems?

Usually a cracked block will show oil burning and consumption real bad .. but anything's possible ..

You prob have to do a teardown to find if the block is indeed cracked.

the head was done at the machine shop ,and one of my buddys works there , and the head I took of was checked also and wasn,t warped .
