Ok i just replaced my coolant yesterday along with my spark plugs and fuel filter. I noticed today that i'm leaving large puddles of coolant everywhere. My stock ring clamp is not tight enough and is leaking coolant right by the filler cap. Now i didn't think it was related but i found it very odd that it's now very hard to shift, it's very notchy. The coolant seems to be leaking down and dripping on my shift linkage where it meets the tranny? How could this be cauing a hard shift?

Antifreeze is kind of a slimey, sticky crap - it wouldn't surprise me if it nullifies some of the lubricating properties of light oils or grease. Bottom line: fix the leak, re-lube the linkage and you should be good to go.
