Hey guys, I just rebuit my 7 bolt, for the second time now (.040 over, BSEK). The entire engine was taken to a machine shop and everything necessary was done and in order for a rebuild. When I drained the oil the 2nd time it looked like chocolate milk, of course coolant in the oil...I dont see any oil in the coolant however. Im blowing out a lot of white/gray smoke, so coolant is getting into the combustion chamber so I would think to eliminate the oil cooler being damaged. I pulled the head off yesterday and and there is nothing wrong with the headgasket (standard felpro) it seems like it was sealing up perfectly, I have ARP studs, and torqed 30-60-90. I bought a .051 MLS cometic for a bore of .040 over for when I put the head on. The intake ports looked clean and dry, dont know if that makes a difference though. The exhaust ports had a black goo as well as the spark plugs, maybe unburned fuel. However my wideband was blastin to lean... No, I did not do a compression check or leak down test
Just because I just jumped to it being the HG. Is it possible it is a headgasket...My turbo is an oil fed turbo only. Also I used topline piston rings and did NOT check the end gap on them; they were installed just like they came out of the package...I didnt know to do so....now I need to pull the bottom end apart, file the rings down, might as well put new bearings in since water got in them.
PS: The car has only been started up 5 times, has not left the driveway, hasn't been over 4000rpm, and has had a run time of about 10 frekin minutes...
Is the headgasket most likely the problem or what else could it be!?!?!?
