Conv. Top and fan motor

Ok so today my fan motor qiut along with the a/c. So it got hot in the car and i went to put the conv. top down and it didn't even click behind the seat. So what could have happend that both my conv. top and fan motor don't work now??? Also i have been having probems with my power windows. When it worked i would have to push the down button for the roof to put the windoes down. They would not go on their own. Then to put them back up i would have to hold in the close button o nthe conv. top. This sounds like a conv. top ECU malfunction rght? Also checked all fuses, none blown. Thanks

The convertible top doesn't have an ECU. It's just a switch that flips a relay to power the motors.

Pushing the "top down" switch automatically drops the windows. That's normal. The windows going up when you push the top up button is wierd. Don't know what to tell you on that.

You can make sure the switch in the trunk behind the left interior panel didn't somehow get flipped to manual for the top. As for the A/C fan. Check the wiring for power, and wiggle the fan relays around. Double check your fuses under hood again as well.

There is a large black box that controlls the conv top behnds the seat, but i stil checked all fuses adn relays and nothing. Where in the car does the climate unit and conv top/ windows cross paths? Both died at the same time and i cant figure it out.
