Confused with tuning and upgrading( S-AFC/AFPR)

Well the thing is i took my car to one of the best DSM tuners on the island(11.5 2g GST),
thing is they reccomended i get a AFPR now so i can tune the car, they said i would get more HP from the car in it's current stock injectors and pump state

Thing is i've read of people putting in a 190lph and not using an AFPR, but how do you tune then? an S-AFC?

This is what i'm trying to figure out, to tune you need a fuel/air control device, in this case the S-AFC would be the same as an AFPR?

I am really confused, can i tune with an S-AFC the same as an AFPR? should i get the AFPR or what?

You need to do some reasearch about what each of those parts is, and what they do.

AFPR = Adjustable fuel pressure regulator. This is a device that lets you control your fuel pressure.

SAFC = Super Airflow Converter. The SAFC intercepts the airflow signal from the MAFT and modifies it.
