Hey DSMers
As you can see I have a 1998 Mits Eclipse Spyder Gs-T.
Im confused on what to do with the car.
Race or Show? I know it sounds silly.
Here are my reasons on why I am confused:
1. convertable = heavy, but its sick to have a fast sypder.
2. show = attention, but speed is crucial.
3. sound system = heavy

Current Mods
engine-hks BOV

show- pioneer avic-n2( nav + dvd)
alpine and jlAudio speakers + alpine amp

what should I do next?

Look at my profile and my mods. I like having the turbo convertible, plus you never hear about anyone making them fast.

Make more power to make up for the extra weight. I have a system (2 - 12's) and all the goodies like a/c, and heat that most of these guys are pulling out. I put down close to 300 at the wheels with my 18g on 93 oct. and will be going soon with the 50 trim in. Its nice to have a bad ass lookin car with everything still in it and stomp a ricer with his interior ripped out and sweating crazy because he took out the 25lb a/c compressor. Not to mention its not rice when you can back it up!

HAHA yes maintance is a first, then build to your needs. I no i only want around 300-320whp out of my gst. So thats all im really looking for, other than that i want to have a nice clean looking dsm. Until i buy another car then ill go all out with her. But set goals that way it saves you money in the end. You dont want to have to constantly keep upgrading ### you out grow parts....
