98 spyder gs rear drum?

ok i am looking for the spring kit for the rear drums. i work at advance auto parts and i cant get them no matter how hard i try. does any one know where i can get it or the stock part number for the spring kit. also did any of the other 2g come with drum brakes or was the spyder the only one that came with it. thanks

Are you sure you have rear drums? RS's came with drums, but hardtop GS's were rear disc, which I would assume the spyder did too. But what do I know.

The gs-t was a disk on drum config in the rear (spyder)
And im 99 % sure the gs is a drum. I made a comment to a friend he needed to get some disks on his rear since he had a brembo big brake kit up front.

Yes a spyder gs has drums and a spyder gst has discs in the rear. Its one of the ways to tell them apart.

did you try the dealer yet? also, 95-99 RS's came with drum brakes.

i am sure that it has rear disc but i found a listing for non convertables drum brakes. are the rs drums the same as the spyder gs drums?

would it be more worth my time to switch to disks in the rear and how ahrd is it to do.
