Title says it all. I tried Pb, pliars everything. I used the right adapter, but I don't know why it won't loosen up. Guess I have to remove my valve cover? WTF

Mods: Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I didn't know where to post it.

Problem solved. I found a very long set of pliars, and managed to get it to the bottom of the compression test, where it screws in. Thanks for the help.

The same thing happened to me when i was looking to buy my car, I told the owner that I didnt have a car and asked if he could bring it over for me to look at. I asked him if I can perform a compression test and the adapter got stuck in there. I thought in my head "Oh great, either I have to buy the car or this stranger is going to have to sleep over tonight" Luckily after 15 minutes of trying it finally came out, I took a chance and screwed a spark plug into the adapter pretty tight and out they came together in 1 piece.LOL

Many testers these days have a hexagon outer shape on the part that screws into the head - just for this reason.

I'm not sure that would have helped. When I twisted the hose to try and remove it, it just kept twisting and crimping, i'm surprised it didn't rip.
