Well I'm going to be pulling my head off to get rebuilt. Before I started to tear it apart I did a compression test with 150-160 dry. then I did wet and it went up about 10-17 psi higher. The thing is I forgot to press the gas WOT while doing wet. Will that change the compression? I've already started tearing it part and would like to know if I should rebuild it or just do the head. Or maybe just re-ring it.
Thanks, Jason

well 160 dry compression is pretty damn perfect...
167 is stock brand new specs... so whyyou rebuilding? just for peace of mind or something?

I bought the car about 4 months ago and the owner thinks its the orginal motor with 150k. I figured since I got the head half the work is done to do the motor.
