compression ratio on a 4g63

need to find a book on the 2nd gen other than the haynes book also wanted to know the stock compression on the 4g63

Other options to the haynes would be chiltons or a factory service manual which can be purchased on ebay in print form or bought on a CD from FP. Stock compression on 7 bolt 4G63 is 8.5:1 vs 7.8:1 on the 6 bolt.

Stock compression on 7 bolt 4G63 is 8.5:1 vs 7.8:1 on the 6 bolt.

Substitute 2G for 7 bolt and 1G for 6 bolt and the above is correct (assuming 4G63T).

Get the CD...it covers every year DSM. As posted, stock CR on the 2g turbo 4g63 is 8.5:1 with compression numbers of 178psi standard, 133 service limit.
