Like the title says, does anyone have any more informationa bout this. It seems extremely rare, but the car im buying comes with it and I need to know more info. I did a search and no one seems to know anything about it. Thanx guys!

Well, It's been 14 months since this was posted. Has anyone tried this clutch or the Comp STRIP version that has the same PP but a ceramic disc? The IRONMAN is smoother than the ceramic and lasts longer/costs more. The ceramic has more of a grab feeling but holds more, shorter life. I believe the IRONMAN is part # 1680 and the Ceramic is #1620. Both have 6-puck/SPRUNG discs and PP pressures of 2500-2600lbs. I have fried an ACT 2100(totally my fault-plus the motor's power) and when I drove my car for the last week this fall before storing it I first noticed a mushy pedal and after a few more days it began to slip. It will hold 10psi before slopping so it is not nearly as bad as the 2100 was as it would not hold ANY boost.
The ACT tech rep said the 2900 PP and street disc would hold only 50lbs./ft. of additional engine torque. I don't want a solid disc abd ACT does not make a sprung 6-puck for the DSM's, just the EVO's.
Now it's Comp so far though I have all winter to research. Anyone use a Comp Clutch and have any feedback? Thanks, Mark
PS: If you had to use a Comp Clutch which would you choose and why?
1. The Sintered iron disc
2. the ceramic
