I was just teasing him, BTW. Despite the shopping cart add-on, that was a hell of a workhorse.

Like i said idk if does or doesnt have work under it i really dont care if it doesnt its my first car i rsther do some work on the engine.

Not trying to be a complete asshole here but...

Learn to spell man, we hate it when people come on here and talk jive or ebonics.

Learn about your car, if you would had done some research before buying it you would have learned the 11.9 is bullshit and pretty much it looks stock minus some hard piping.

That being said. Congrats on the talon for 2k. Be good to her and for God sake's get her a new paint job.

^^That man has trouble with the ladies, but understands foruming like a BAWS.

So guys everyone said it looks stock... Then what should i first start to upgrade like could someone guide me a little. Im new to all this but i do have a passion for cars. No di**head answers haha

Could u explain not so use to this type of stuff. Why would it br hard i thought 14lb turbos was better then 8 sorry if i sound dumb everyone learns at one point

The turbo is a 14B, not a 14LB turbo.

Not sure why the weight would matter anyways...

Well congrats, I bought my eclipse when I was 17 also. I did research until I knew it inside and out. I suggest for the long haul you do you same. :hellyeah:

Start with timing belt water pump plugs coils and oil changes. Fluids. Get the simple stuff done first. Then start with a exhaust, fmic, and a wideband. Then get some bigger injectors and a way to tune the bi***.

Talonbooster, how mechanically inclined are you?

As far as what to do to the car, very first thing to get would be a repair manual. After that do the maintenance first. Even if the guy said he did it, do it anyway "just in case".

Reminds me of my car...When I bought it it was riced to the max with a body kit, euro lights and a crappy paint job that peeled after a year. I slapped on oem pieces and it looks great. Got it for 2100. Just don't know what color to paint it, I'm 16.:dsm:

I agree, the only thing I see on the motor thats aftermarket, is the hard pipe.
Do some basic reading on the car, things to look out for, everything of that nature.

You definitely wanna look into the maintenance thing though. Dont wanna snap a timing belt on a car you just got, then have a lawn ornament.

I had my DSM at 17. Reading up on here taught me everything I know about em.

These cars are easy to get power out of, pretty cheap.

Step list Id do:
1. Stock body panels.
2. Paint. (I paint my own)
3. Maintenance check.
4. MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD.
5. Fix car....
6. Drive car for 2 days.
7. Fix car...
