Been doing some reading on the colder plugs. Some good and some bad. With the setup I have listed in my profile. What would be the best to go. Leave oem plugs in. Or 1 or 2 steps colder? Along with what gap size.

Considering your setup you could still get away with NGK BPR6ES like most of us. As you go up in the horsepower game where more boost and fuel is required, you might find a colder plug to be beneficial. NGK BPR7ES are the next step colder. You wont need BPR8ES or 9ES for that matter until you are hitting over 600 whp. I find NGK's easily at Checker's, for some reason my Autozone wont carry NGK's WTF
Correct me if im wrong, but this is my knowledge on dsm's and plugs. Try the link below to learn about them in the spark plug faq.

Personally I would use the 6's if running below 17-18 psi, 7's if running more than 18. Just my opinion. Gap them to .028".

i guess its just the stupid autozone by my house that does not supply NGK's readily.
The general community agrees on a colder plug for anything over 18 psi, it works very well and you dont have to tell me twice. Besides they are $ 2 a peice, gotta love NGK's .
