colder NGK spark plugs

I was told to get NGK spark plugs a couple steps colder. Anybody know the actual model # or how cold do you go on these. I run 1000cc injectors 23psi street gas supporting mods etc.

NGK BPR6ES is stock, repalce the 6 with the heat range you are looking for. IE BPR7ES or BPR8ES. Your profile is blank so any further help is not possible. 7's are sufficant for MOST setups.

thanks for post I will have to get it updated. first time post here. Will take forever so just needed to ask first because I am on the way to the store. Basically though 9 to 1 compression je forged pistons buschur 20g 23psi street gas tune blah blah.

what is the disadvantage to going to cold I guess is the question then. Colder helps lesson detination but to cold then what?

They get fouled more easily because they don't get hot enough to prevent carbon from building up on them.

just checking that you were NOT using a piggyback. Again nice setup you have there.
