when i go out to my car and start it up and the engine is cold it runs so strong with 9 psi of boost but once the car heats up to normal operating temp. the performance is slow and sluggish and seems to wanna bog...what would cause this?

Do you have an EGR blockoff?

I have the same feeling some days (no EGR block off), but I think it has to do with the open vs. closed loop onthe ecu part. Or maybe the early first response of feeling boost for the first part of the day, cause if I let the car warm and hop in it feels fast (definition of fast being arguable of course) from the get go.

Either way, it is NOT GOOD to start your car and just go. You need to let is all warm up or that oil will be that of molassas. You will enforce pre-mature failure of the motor by doing that. ESPECIALLY when you build 9psi on a cold block. :nono:

I was just thinking the same thing, I don't always warm my car up, but I drive like an old lady until it is.

yeah i always let my car warm up but i was just trying it the other day an thats what happend..yes i do have an egr block off....

Is that whats causeing it, because I have an egr blockoff or what is Im sure someone has had this problem before.... ### help

Dude, check the plugs, check for codes, check anything you can. Atleast that way you can narrow down the possiblities.

We can't tell you what's wrong with the car over the internet. You need to give us more info and feedback.

All I know is that it runs good when cold, but sluggish when warm.
Nothing else.
I cannot help you solve this problem without more information, and on top of that, YOU need to check what could be causing this. Did you install the turbo kit or someone else?

What kind of i/c? To me it makes since the cooler your i/c is the more it compresses air and the more efficient it will work. Kinda like heat soak especially if its a smic. I let my car warm up to running temp then my first few times I boost up it is fast as shit!
