slow acceleration

how can I get more acceleration out of my 1991 1.8 eclipse? The PLYMOUTH HORIZON I had before had more power.

The slow acceleration comes from having a 1.8 L eclipse. No torque + No horsepower=no acceleration.

I recommend just I/H/E and leave it alone.

Mabye swap in a $g63 is the only way, buy a blown up car and swap and rebuild the engine.

Hell built the 1.8 and turbo it, how weird would that be? And with the gearing so low it would accelerate like a mofo.
