i have tein ss coilovers on my car. im happy with them for the most part but the ride is just a tad too stiff for south san diego's crappy streets. i was wondering if it was possible to change out the springs on them for different ones? thanks

its more that just a touch softer would put the ride quality right where i want it to be

would going from a 504lb to 400lb spring rate be drastic enough to require revalving of the adjustable shocks?

I would suggest looking into progressive springs for the rear suspension if you want better ride quality while still retaining superb handling.
QA1 makes them in different length and spring-rate.

I swapped the rear springs on my JIC FLT-A2 with a progressive rate one and the ride comfort improves dramatically.
