Ok so i got a 98 gst spyder...right now im driving on blown stock suspension and im on a tight budget and need to get the suspension fixed before the winter and since im going to school i only have about $700 MAX to spend right now and not really much time to wait and save up more. I've narrowed it down to two coilover kits...either NEX Type GT or Yonaka Racing Coilovers...i know the saying "what you pay for is what you get" but its the best i can do. My car is a daily driver street car that probably wont hit over 350 hp when im done with it and I only take it to track for 1/4 mile runs about 4-5 times a year so i dont need an expensive coilover kit. I'm looking for a stiff, firm ride with the ability to adjust ride height. The thing I like about the Yonaka is that they come with a lifetime warranty but they dont have damper adjustment they only have ride height adjustment and the plus for the NEX is that they have dampening adjustment but i'm not sure if it will be necessary for me to have that option. I'm just wondering (preferably from people who have had 1st hand experience with these coilovers) which set up from these two will be better. What do you guys think would be better out of these two for a very stiff and firm ride?
