First off, I have a 2G with a 6 bolt. What year coils do I need to use or how can I determine what year is already installed? I have the ECI Multi (1G) intake manifold and they're mounted facing the driver's side, if that helps. To save money can I just get the cheap '90 coils and bolt them onto my current bracket? Is that hard to do? They must include new brackets for a reason...
Second, where is the power transistor located and should I replace it at the same time?
Now on to more causes for the never ending idle misfire problems....
I noticed that my breather filter was blowing oil and blowby crap onto my CAS. What are the chances that this messed it up the same way that washing the engine might? Is there anyway for me to take it out and clean it? If not (once again) what year CAS do I need with the swap (1G head)? The one on there now is all one color, kinda greenish.
I was under the impression that a CAS either works or it doesn't. Could it be causing my bad idle or would the car not run at all (or run bad all the time) if the CAS was damaged?
