Ok guys, I was having some terrible problems with a coil witch led to ECU ect ect. I purchased another coil pack off ebay and heres the catch ... Newb question.. Nether coils work, so maybe I'm doing it wrong.
Coil Testing :
Your suppose to ck the ohms from one to the other terminal (where the spark plug wires go) and should read between a certain range in this case 91 laser 2.0L, the ohms should read 0.50-0.70 or real close to that number. If the ohms don't read between that number then the coil is bad?
Or take the wires off the back of the coil (that have VERY LITTLE NUTS
) and check between the two terminals for a 13.0-14.0 ohms range. If not between that range then the coil is bad ?
Is this correct or am I just a dummy who not only had one bad coil pack now has bought another bad coil pack ....
Thanks Skulz
