yeah streetfire is a bad host which is why i was like hmm i better start embeding the link before a moderator kills me. but if you accually look you find cool things on the site. once you over look the " my mustang ownz all" comments haha.

The best part of the video is when he is like " you cna go to the sotre get grocerys and your girlfriend can drive it" whoa! " you have gone to far no girl drives my car"

And I do know what crankwalk is buy i was hoping a wiseman or someone could verify if the pressure plate could cause crankwalk without like bring up a subjec tthat has been beaten to death time and time already.

In the video, the host shows us an Eclipse flywheel. It has six equally-spaced holes in the center (plus one extra hole b/t two of the holes). Is this from a 1g/6-bolt? And would there then be 7 equally spaced holes in a 2g/7-bolt flywheel? Or does the 6- or 7-bolt reference apply to something else in the motors?

And would there then be 7 equally spaced holes in a 2g/7-bolt flywheel? Or does the 6- or 7-bolt reference apply to something else in the motors?

If there are six equally spaced holes in the flywheel, it's for a six-bolt motor. A flywheel with seven bolts in it is for a seven-bolt motor.

The point isn't whether the clutch is four-puck, six-puck, or full face, but what material the buttons on the puck/disc are made of. The Fidanza 3.2 (4-puck) is a Kevlar material, which is very forgiving in slip situations and good for long life and driveability. This is the one I should have ordered the first time, but I instead ordered the 4.3, which is the 6 puck. This clutch uses a ceramic friction material, which I interpret as being more for a weekend/strip car, not a true daily driver for someone who rarely ever drives aggressively. I don't launch out of each red light on the street, and I hit positive boost maybe twice on my daily drive to and from work, but I still wanted a clutch that could hold up to a few runs a year at the track. Thus, the 3.2 seems to be the ideal clutch for my situation. The problems I had making up my mind when I first made the order were that I was seeing more people who said they ordered the 4.3, and I didn't see anyone who had ordered the 3.2.

I've already sent back the 4.3 and am just waiting for the 3.2 to ship. Then I have a few more things to order. I'm basically replacing the entire hydraulic system (master, slave, line, fork, fulcrum ball) and as soon as it's installed, I will give a review of how the clutch performs, before and after break-in.

The 6 or 7 bolt refer to the holes in the flywheel.

It doesn't even say what material it is. But it looks like the Carvin/Kevlar disk.

Ceramic seems to be the way to go if you don't mind it being a little unforgiving. Im an aggressive driver and race at the strip every weeknd.

The ACT 2600 has been a mainstay clutch for DSM'ers since DSM's began. But I have an aversion to a heavy pedal feel and the possibility that it may worsen a crankwalk problem.

With 400hp and being a car that sees the track a lot, you could probably get away with a ceramic 6-puck clutch like the Fidanza 4.3. If you're interested, check out Titan Motorsports for the best prices on Fidanza clutches I've seen. The 4.3 there is almost $100 cheaper than the ACT 2600 at SBR, and Titan's shipping is extremely cheap and fast. My flywheel and clutch together only cost $12 to ship and the clutch arrived within a week.

Did DSMs make Fidanza what they are, or are they as well-known with Datsuns and everyone else as they are to us?
