Ok I'm gonna try to explain this the best I can. Went to work this morning. Its snowing pretty good out. The car is a beast and I get to work safely. I leave work, pull out the parking lot shifted 1st and 2nd. Felt fine. Down the highway the traffic light is red. So I stop. I pull off in 1st it revs high but I'm hardly moving. Same thing with 2nd and 3rd. 4th and 5th were fine. I get home and notice some possible tranny fluid in my parking space. So I try to reverse out the spot and I cant even back up! I had my boy try to back it out and the only wheel spinning was the pass rear. Front wheels nothing. Is it the tranfer case? I need this fixed by monday so I could get to work!

edit: The tranny is rebuilt and the street disk is new. Also I wanna say there was a weird feeling under my right foot when I was on the highway....cant really explain it maybe a slight bumping. I pulled over thinking it was the front driverside tire.

Do you have another transfer case to put in it's place and try? Otherwise you can try to remove the transfer case altogether and see if the car moves without it in place. Obviously you'll have to either remove the driveshaft or support it somehow to see if you can move the car without the transfer case in place.

Usually if the transfer case locks it's due to a lack of fluid, so there wouldn't be any fluid to leak out. Almost sounds like your center diff broke.

i would probably say it's your T-case if your front wheels are still moving. if only one locked up in the back then that's probably it. if you had a street disc installed recently, it could be that if it was installed incorrectly. try to find a new T-case, and if that doesn't fix it then it's your clutch

The wheels are not locked up. They do roll. I gotta find out tomorrow where the tranny fluid is leaking from.

Geez, check your axles. You likely have one of the front axles not fully engaged in the transmission. Check the driver-side axle to intermediate shaft connection, and the passenger-side axle to transmission connection.

Personally, it sounds like the driver-side axle seperated itself from the intermediate shaft. Pound the axle back onto the splined portion of the intermediate shaft; I am guessing it popped out. These things happen from time-to-time.

Thanks guys. It was the driver side axle that popped out of the tranny.
