Okay, so a few weeks ago I got my car up to about 30psi tuning and the clutch started to slip on colder nights, it was an act2600/street disk which had been great for the last 10k miles. I figured I had just pushed past the TQ rating on it so I pulled it out and since I am low on cash I saved up and just got a new southbend kelvar disk and popped that in. I had not bled the clutch, since I have a stainless line I just moved the slave out of the way. I adjusted the clutch and it was engaging nearly at the floor and had to switch to a 2g master rod to get the adjustment correct (after watching Jack's Trans tutorial vid) so it is just about half a turn off keeping the slave from going back by hand. But it still didn't pass the clutch drag test, the car moved forward at 6-6500 rpms. But I wasn't sure what to do from there so I put about 200 miles on the clutch like that. Now, I had swiched boost control types and had to restart going up in boost again and now the clutch is slipping at only 20psi, with not nearly as much power as before.
I am not sure if that dragging is causing the clutch to heat up and slip or the pressure plate was half of the problem initially or what.. I'm frustrated, low on cash and just can't afford to just thow parts at this thing and hope something works..
