I have a 2g w/ the stock 7 bolt and i recently swapped out my ptt to a used 2600 as well as the slave cylinder back to a stocker. (dont want to put anymore miles on the ptt until i 6 bolt swap it AND its kind of annoying to drive in traffic)
Well im not sure what the problem is, there's no air in the system (shouldnt be atleast, blead it about 20 times), new slave, new master, just a used 2600 clutch and im having a hard time with disengagement. I adjusted the pedal to let out more at the top while having free play in the pedal like you're supposed to but if im driving normally or hard when i push the clutch in the rpms dont drop and i physically have to pull it out of gear. It doesnt grind going into gear, usually dont have a problem shifting, but if im rolling along and try to downshift or if im coasting and try to put it in gear, i have to force it or match the revs.
Anyone think the used 2600 is way too used
? Or do you think its another issue involving something else? It's just really annoying and would like to drive my car normally for a change
