Alright....heres my problem.

I just replaced my clutch with an Act 2100. My car (95 GST) is pushin probably close to 250 hp give or take. Now I drove on the clutch for about 100 miles ( i know i shoulda gave it at least 200) and i coulnt hold back to the urg to give it a lil gas. So at about 30 I got on it ( pedal wasnt to the floor...just enough to feel the power). I did this a few times...well, my clutch started slippin ( i know, im dumb, but i really dont need to hear it from you guys too pls OMG ) Well anyway, its slippin like it was before i replaced it....but not buckin. It just doesnt grip 100% on anyacceleration that brings in the turbo cus you can hear that hollow sounds of your boost being dumped because it has nowhere to go :(. Anyway what i need to know is:

Seein as i obviously didnt kill the clutch disc because i didnt even launch on it, then am i just lookin at a glazed pressure plate? If so how do i get rid of it? I wont have to rip that dumb tranny outta that mess of parts under my hood will i? Lol, well either way, lemme know.

Thanx,
Nate

You broke in a clutch for 100 miles? WOW... I did 400 miles and I thought it wasn't really enough. Mine holds up great now, maybe you should start driving normal for now, at least a few hundred more miles. It sounds like you glazed the surface.

Yeah, i figure that i probably glazed it....but will that go away on its own? Is there any way to make it go away faster? Any advice? LOL...thanx guys

Nate

nope, won't go away on its own.
You will have to yank it and have it resurfaced.
Sorry to be the barer of bad news

man, im a dork, LOL. Turns out that i popped my hood and all that was wrong was that my resirc tube on my BOV popped off and therefor my car was runnin like crap, LOL. It felt just like a bad clutch, but the clutch was fine. Sorry bout all that
