clutch problem

i just had a southbend clutch put into my 95 eagle talon in oreder for the clutch to engage i have to push it all the way to the floor. i drove it for about 5 miles then replaced the passenger side cv axel and ball joint. after that i tryed to pull out of my driveway and it seems that the clutch is slipping bad but i cant smell it and theres no smoke. it still moves but very slowly. also when i go to park it and put it in gear it rolls back even know its in gear. i dont know what the problem could be

Did you try adjusting the master cylinder rod behind the pedal? Did you bleed it?

i dont know if the person that replaced the clutch did that i was going to check that tonight

Sounds like the rod just needs to be adjusted...you should try to do it yourself and get familiar with the car. Behind the clutch pedal there's a 12mm nut on the backside of the bracket with a rod going into the firewall. Just loosen that nut and turn the rod clockwise looking toward the firewall (might need some vise grips to get it going). Then test out the engagement point, if it's still too low (or high), keep adjusting.

Update got car jacked up and wiggle the cv axle and it is poped out

i put the cv axle back in and it runs and drives fine now
