clutch pedal is real hard/heavy

its really hard to press in my clutch pedal when i compare to my friends 240sx...is there any reason for this? anything i can do to make it softer?

The short answer... no.

Every car feels different. You can't compare your car to your friend's 240. I didn't think my 2100 was very heavy. Maybe there's something wrong with yours??

Put in a SS clutch line. It'll help a little. It's probably just the pressure plate on your clutch that's in there. Different ones will give different pedal pressures. Is the clutch stock?

It shouldn't be too hard to push in but coming out should be very firm. Been a while since I felt a 240 clutch but it is probably softer than yours. In either case it never hurts to bleed the system of any air that might be in thier and check your master and slave for leakage.

yea my clutch is stock...i really need to figure this out because im going to be having ACL surgery on my knee and i wont be able to drive the car if the clutch stays this hard
