After blowing my trans, i had it rebuilt and got a new t-case. the clutch is glazed so I'll replace that when i got $, My question is do I need to replace the flywheel to if it has hot spots all over it? Or can I just get it resurfaced? keep in mind it was a brand new clutch & flywheel before I blew it.

Thanks, Mark

You could resurface it, it's supposed to have a .610 step. IF there aren't any deep cracks and the clutch disk is on it's way out why not replace the clutch and resurface the flywheel while you have the transmission off? Do it now so you don't have to do it later. Also is it a stock clutch and flywheel? If so autozone has a complete kit for under a $100 so you might as well do that atleast.

He said he will be replacing the clutch, and is asking if he can resurface the flywheel...which I already answered.

I wouldn't run an Autozone clutch kit on a 70hp POS daily beater, much less a DSM.

Lol! thanks a lot guys... It was a f-1 stage 2 clutch with the 8lb flywheel... I got it on Ebay. 1 more question if you dont mind. Can I buy and use one of those Autozone stock clutch kits, If I have some upgrades done to my car?

550's injectors, 255 wally, 16g turbo, that's about it..

Copy that thanks! I will just save for another performance clutch... Any suggestions that are good and affordable? I got a wide band and safc 2 to tune... I finally figured out how to tune with them.. No real serious tuning.

Sounds good... Thanks Bro! That's true I had it tuned the beginning of last year... No I just do it myself...
