clutch engages to quickly after act 2100 install

hey guys I need some quick help here.
I finished the 2100 install yesterday, new kit, tob, flywheel, everything.
only issue is that when you start off in first gear the clutch grabs WAY to low, I even stalled it a couple of times.... :laugh:
anyways i'm guessing it needs to be adjusted? thanks
oh and btw shifting and all else seems ok..

yeah that happens when you move from stock to a new high performance clutch

new clutches engage lower and then get higher as they wear.

plus going from stock to 2100 will give you a little jolt.

I just finished up my ACT 2100 install this morning. I bled the system, cranked up the car and found out that my clutch engaged 1/2" from the floor.

I jacked with the adjustment on the clutch pedal and got it to where it engages around 1"-1 1/2" off the floor.

I damn sure second the fact that when I shift to second its a bit more jolty than when I had the stock clutch on 3 days ago.

Try adjusting it some more, it worked for me.

this is 100% exactly how my morning went, engaged right off the floor half inch at most..
adjusted it somemore, $%^& that adventure, anyways seems as it should now.

Try this out and it should work out fine. when you get a new clutch sometimes you have to recalibrate the clutch pedal.
