Some background: 150 miles on new engine, trans, clutch, pedal assembly...... Ect.
As I have been trying to put milage on this build I can't seem to help but notice the car doesn't like to go into 1st gear when stopped. It will either hang on the syncros for a bit then go into gear or it will attempt to go in then it will kick out of gear and grind. When moving it goes into 1st like butter.
I bled the clutch and master the way teamRIP says and I also adjusted the pedal ass. The way jacks trans states. I have about 2 inches of play from engagement to the floor. I am running a PTT twin disk with the Isuzu slave. The weird thing is the clutch drags when trying to go into gear but not at 7500 rpms. I put the car on jack stands to see the slightest amount of drag and those were my results. It sounds like a dragging clutch issue but it seems like I did everything I can and it is still giving me problems. I'm tired and just want to see what others have to say about this, maybe I'm missing the obvious.
Ps, I'm running lightweight shockproof trans fluid and dot 5 clutch fluid.

It is a braided line from master to slave. Brand new slave and not so new master. I don't remember having these problems when I took the car off the road to build it. Also the switch at the top of the pedal adjustment is all the backed out for max throw.

Try looking at the Master and see if there is any fluid leaking from behind the clutch pedal. My Master cylinder went bad when I let my car sit for a long time. I swear the seals dry up from not being used.

If you see any wetness around the master push rod then replace the Master and re-bleed. I bleed then bleed again in a few days just to be sure.

Yes that is the only thing I haven't replaced and at 43 bucks I'm doing it. I should have it In a couple of days. I will also be calling shep trans and PTT to ask what they suggest.

Talked to PTT today and they are helping me solve this clutch drag issue. So far they gave me instructions to setup the clutch pedal according to FSM specs then to bleed the clutch with the slave cylinder compressed for the process. They said if this doesn't fix it then it could be a couple of other things including a bent friction disk. I will start by fixing the clutch pedal adjustment and try again.
