Okay so while putting in my new trans i decided to do some comparing of clutches. I had a spec stage 2 and a clutchnet stage 2 sitting around as well as my brand new solid hub cluchnet disc. Anyways I weighed all three of the discs and compared the thickness of each. The Clutchnet sprung disc was .308 thick, spec was .312 and the new solid hub was .330. Those were all compressed measurments, and the first two had no more than 10k miles on each. Now for the weight i have some pics.
1st pic is 1lb 12.8oz
2nd pic is 3lbs 4.5oz
3rd pic is 3lbs 14.5oz
After throwing in the new solid hub with my reused spec pressure plate and new fidanza it shifts amazing. No chatter, no slipping and best of all i can shift at 8k now without gear lockout. I figure this is because i shaved 12lbs off my drivetrain weight. All i can say is ive never felt a dsm (gvr4 but still) shift this nice and ive had many different setups and platforms. So i highly reccomend the solid hub street disc to anyone who wants a streetable disc that can hold alot of power and not have to worry about springs ejecting. On a side note it was only $105 shipped and he made it to my specs(since i was using a spec pressure plate).
