so i thought that my slave cylinder was the only problem i had. the car wouldnt go into gear when started untill i bled the slave cylinder and then that problem was resolved. i drive to school a day after bleeding the slave and when i come out the same problem persists. clutch wont disengage, car wont go into gear, when trying to start the car in gear the car jumps etc. i drive the car a mile or so home having to turn the car off at every ligght to get it going again. when i get back i look around and see a big chip off the bell housing right where the slave cylinder goes in. laying on this chip was a piece of my clutch. one of the black teeth from the center part of it. it looks to me, that it was obviously caused from the tooth flying off and creatin the chip from the inside out. my question is this. what would cause the clutch to fail like that. it was put in less than a year ago, and ive never dropped the clutch or anything like that, and the troubling part is that it happened on its own, it just sort of acted up one day. i know i am going to have to drop the trans and rebuild the clutch and all of that. i just dont want to get all that done and have it fail again because of an unforseen problem. any help is greatly appreciated
