2G Cluster door ajar light

I cannot get this damn light off. I replaced both door switches with no change. The dome light and interior lights all come on and off as they should when the doors shut. The problem is the cluster light “door ajar” stays on no matter what. What all is connected to this circuit?

I think the trunk/hatch trips it as well. Maybe the hood, not sure about that though. Check those switches and see if those do anything for you.

I would pull out the cluster and check the wiring to it. Most likely had a poorly wired in set of gauge over lays. The cluster lights should not illuminate at all with interior lighting. They should only illuminate with the headlight switch turned

The cluster lights are not on just the door ajar light. As far as the trunk goes I disconnected the hatch ajar switch with no change.
