where can i get clear radiator hoses that can withstand alot of heat i know they make them ive seen them in mags

I have seen them. But when I needed a new hose I opted for a stock one, not clear.

WTF Woco also offers colorant to add to your coolant. Wow your friends and colleagues with a bright red or blue fluid and give that finishing touch to jazz up your wheels.

Brought to mind a good looking girl in a bikini with transparent veins and arteries. Some things are better off NOT seen! Save the clear hoses forthe sub20 year old rice machine owners.Mark
PS: DEEEP I checked out your mod list and the hoses will be your first mod. Enjoy the car as YOU like it as it is YOUR car. I would go with the colored additive though as anti freeze green is ugly!

if you need to see the condition and or flow of your coolant... well that is why they put caps on em.

IT'll probably melt on a turbo car... most rad hoses suck and fail due to the amount of heat... SO I use only oems... they last 100k or so before getting real squishy.

my first hose failed on me last week. it was the lower one on the thermostat housing going to the heater core. it had 138k miles on it :thumb:

i think the whole colored coolant thing with clear hoses would be cool, especially for a show car, but only if the hoses are known to withstand the heat. i guess someone should try it and report back to us.

i just got a set of silicon upper and lower radiator hoses. they are just like intercooler hoses. expensive, but i will never have an upper hose go out on me again(i have had 2 of them develop a pinhole leak, both almost in the same spot). i change out all my hoses with every timing belt, now i only need to change out the secondary hoses.

i think it looks cool, when mine go out I will get a set, call me a ricer if you want, I do have a body kit and all that good stuff, but usually people see a car with a body kit and think its slow....so I'm gong for the whole reverse psychology deal...and I like it...thats all that matters, so if you like them and they can withstand the heat, get them.

i would if i knew they worked. I like the sickly green color of coolant. but im not going to be the first test subjuect.

I have talked with that company in the past about getting clear hoses for my quad and I have a huge whale pipe that comes really close to the hose, they told me their hoses are so heat resistant that I could have the hoses laying on the pipe with no problems. They said there stronger then OEM. Also they can custom make them to almost any size, even with a different inlet and outlet size.

I agree with sweet here

TO EACH HIS OWN.... DO WHATEVER YOU WANT TO YOUR CAR.
It may not be want I would've done or the next person but thats not relavant to your project car. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if proeple would think me crazy for some of the things I have done to my car so far. OK thats enough jabbering for me.

I just called and he said they list for 219.95 US for a set.

The guy at Woco said they havent made any for an eclipse yet, so he doesnt know an exact price, but he guessed around $60 for a set.

Eclipse is the same as talon. They are silicone hose, and are definately not $60. SIlicone hose for an intercooler setup is $3 an inch. Ever priced a 90deg bend? They are crazy expensive.

Rad hoses in silicone are not cheap no matter what. But for silicone at ~$200 thats pretty good. Price out a set of Samco hoses.
