Cleaning up wiring. Delete TCU?

I bought my dsm and it had been auto to manual swapped. The original harness has a few unused wires obviously.

My question: what can i remove? can i remove the tcu altogether and just jumper a couple wires for the brake interlock and tranny position switch? I didnt find any write ups on this. I know if i unplug the big "thing" which im guessing is the gear select that must sit on an auto tranny, it will not start. So i need to trick the ecu into thinking its in park and delete the tcu plugs if possible.

Sorry if this has been covered, but i could not find specifics.

The brake wire has already been done btw** No need to depress brake to start

You can remove the PCM (Power-train Control Module). It works on a wide area network and does not necessarily communicate with ECU so there won't be a CEL.

I think it should be clarified that our cars do not have a TCU (Active traction control). They employ a PCM which just basically governs the function of the automatic transmission. Traction is mechanically managed by a viscous coupling in the transmission, and either an LSD or a viscous coupling in the rear differential.

The wiring between the manual and auto (From what I can tell) are basically the same. Some connectors are just not used in manual trim, and vice verse for the auto trim. The manufacturer does that to reduce production cost.

Side note: With Auto to manual conversion, it is not necessary to "re-wire" the clutch via the Park/Neutral safety circuit. The autos HAVE clutch connector wired in and taped off in the harness.
