cleaning the crank

Im in the process of rebuilding my motor, and i'm almost ready to put it back together but before i do i got to clean the crank. I was wondering if there was somthing that was recommended for cleaning the crank? Or is regular brake clean or engine degreaser ok?

I don't see why brake cleaner wouldn't be fine.

I dont see why it wouldnt be fine either i was just trying to make sure there wasn't some sort of stuff that your supposed to clean it with.
