I have a green and then black wire in the ciggarette lighter which is ground and which is power?

Ground is outer on almost everything, I'm pretty sure it's on the cig lighter too.

Black is ground for almost everything, so that's pretty safe to assume. Red and green are usually positive + voltage. You could get a voltmeter at radioshack ($10-20) and figure things out for sure. They're not hard to use, and kinda fun.

I have 3 colors...Green w/ white stripe....Blue and Black...obviously black is ground and blue is hot...do you connect the green adn white to illumination!?
