Cigarette Lighter/EGT not working

When I installed my head unit, my cigeratte light stopped working and my GReddy EGT also stopped working. Both ligh up, but the cigeratte does not get hot, and the EGT gauge doesnt do anything but light up.

Even when i use the GReddy EGT black tool to try to move the arrow, nothing moves.

Everything seems to be connected but one yellow wire from the EGT that looks like it plugs into something

Someone could chime in on the yellow, but that could be one of the sensor wires, hence no movement.

Also, where is the guage installed? If you tapped its power from the cigarette lighter, and/or left one of the lighter's wires unplugged (yellow wire?), that might explain the loss of power to the lighter. Its easy to forget one of those when you remove the center console.

the guage is installed in a triple pillar unit, but the sending unit is as seen in the pictures

The yellow wire looks like either a ground or power. Try and find the schematics for your specific model guage.
The sending unit wire should go into the engine compartemnt into your exhaust manifold.
Check the schematics, but if im not mistaken there should be 12 volt for the light, then a 5volt referance (usually tapped from the ecu) for the guage to read. This is what that yellow wire could be.

Edit: Looking back on the pictures I see the RED power and BLACK ground connected, that is most likely for the back light. So if you figure out what this yellow wire does, then you will know where to plug it in.
