Hopefully, I'll get at least one serious response to this, because I know it sounds pretty silly. First: Within the last few days, my car has started chirping, particularly after a left turn. I thought perhaps it was tires, but this happens when I'm just coasting, too. I thought maybe I was still losing traction somehow, but it happened this morning, when i was making a wide turn, at about only 5-10 miles an hour. Tires are in worn in, but still have plenty of tread. I'm thinking it's suspension, but don't know what part of it would cause this chirping noise, as I don't know a lot when it comes to that part of a car. Anyone have an idea what's doing this?
Secondly, and maybe connected to the chirping thing, is a rattle sound, that comes from the front of the car, sometimes from the right, sometimes left....usually the right side, though. It sounds like it's coming from the doors, but on a basic check, everything was where it was supposed to be, unless there's things loose inside.
I'm really just looking for suggestions. If nothing narrows it down, I'll just have my mechanic prop her up and take a look at the shocks and everything..... Just aggrivates me, because the car runs fine, steers, turns, everything just fine...but sounds like it's not.
